SOLID is an acronym for the first five object-oriented design (OOD) principles

SOLID stands for:

  • S - Single-responsibility Principle
  • O - Open-closed Principle
  • L - Liskov Substitution Principle
  • I - Interface Segregation Principle
  • D - Dependency Inversion Principle
